A Guide for Our Consigning Partners

At House of Reliks, we curate a collection defined by craftsmanship, quality, and timeless style. Our consignment program is built on transparency, mutual respect, and a shared appreciation for pieces that deserve a second chapter. We look forward to partnering with you.
What We Welcome
House of Reliks welcomes women’s, men’s, children’s, and pet apparel, accessories, shoes, and handbags in “like new” condition. We proudly feature luxury labels, unique contemporary and independent designers, and exceptional vintage pieces.
Items we love:
- Linen, cotton, wool, silk, leather, cashmere, and quality-constructed pieces
- Thoughtful silhouettes, elevated materials, and timeless or distinctive design
- Accessories: handbags, sunglasses, wallets, jewelry, shoes, and small home accents
- Exceptional vintage pieces; discussed with you before accepting
Up to 15 seasonal clothing items may be brought per appointment. Accessories are welcome in addition to your clothing selections and are not subject to the same limit.

Condition Standards
All items must arrive freshly cleaned and ready for the sales floor. We hold every piece to a consistent standard so the collection remains elevated for our guests.
We are unable to accept items with:
- Odors, stains, fading, or discoloration
- Holes, tears, or significant pilling (unless the distress is intentional)
- Missing buttons, broken zippers, or other structural damage
Vintage pieces requiring minor care may be accepted at our discretion and will always be discussed with you before a decision is made.
Authenticity & Designer Handbags
Authentication Requirement
If you are consigning a designer handbag, please bring all original authentication certificates and supporting documentation. If documentation is unavailable, authentication will be required before acceptance.
The cost of authentication is the responsibility of the consignor and may be paid at the time of authentication or deducted from proceeds once the item is sold. We are pleased to facilitate this process for a modest fee, even if you ultimately choose to sell the piece elsewhere.
Zero-Tolerance Counterfeit Policy
House of Reliks maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy for counterfeit goods. Any item identified as non-authentic — whether at intake or at any point thereafter — will result in immediate removal from the collection, refusal of service for the consignment in question, and removal from future consignment eligibility. We take this seriously to protect every member of our community.

Our Partnership Terms
Curation & Pricing
All items are curated and priced by House of Reliks. Pricing reflects brand, current market value, condition, demand, and seasonality. You will receive an email within 5–7 business days of drop-off listing all accepted items and their assigned prices.
If you have questions about a specific item’s pricing, we welcome that conversation. While final pricing decisions rest with the House, we value your input and are happy to discuss our reasoning.
Consignment Term
The consignment term is 90 days from the date your items are accepted and priced.
Revenue Split
The revenue split is 50/50 on all sold items. Your 50% is calculated on the final selling price.
Markdown Schedule
To keep the collection fresh and compelling, unsold items are reduced by 15% every 30 days throughout the 90-day term. This graduated markdown approach is standard practice and helps maximize the likelihood of a sale within the term.
After the Sale
Your Consigner Portal
Once your items are live, you can track their status and view pending payouts in your Consigner Portal. Access is provided via email following your drop-off appointment.
Consigner's Payment
Payments are issued monthly via ACH direct deposit, covering all items sold in the prior calendar month. We do not issue checks or cash payments. Please ensure your banking information is current in your Consigner Portal.

Care & Liability
The House takes caring for your pieces seriously. Items are handled with respect throughout the consignment process. While we take reasonable precautions, House of Reliks is not liable for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to theft, acts of nature, or normal wear from display. Items are not insured by the House; consignors may wish to ensure high-value pieces through their own insurance carrier before drop-off.
End of Term
At the close of the 90-day term, unsold items must be retrieved within 10 business days. You will receive a gentle reminder that the end of the term is nearing, and you should make appropriate arrangements with the House. We are happy to discuss options when notified in advance.
Items not retrieved within the 10-business-day window become the property of the House. We will either offer them at a deeply reduced price or donate them to Calvary Women’s Services or another local organization we support.
Withdrawing Items Before Term End
If you wish to retrieve unsold items before the end of your 90-day term, please contact us to make arrangements. Early retrieval is permitted but must be scheduled in advance to ensure your items are prepared and ready for pick up.
Return & Refund Policy
For Buyers
All sales are final. House of Reliks does not accept returns or issue refunds on purchased items. Buyers who are unsatisfied with a purchase are welcome to consign the item back to us, at which point it will be assessed and repriced based on current condition and market value.
For Consignors
Consignor’s earnings reflect 50% of the final selling price and are non-refundable once disbursed. If you have a concern about a payout or account discrepancy, please reach out directly. We will review and address it promptly.
